The Quick Left
Here's a trend that I've noticed on the roads of East Lansing.
At some point it became acceptable to make a left turn as soon as the traffic light turns green... even if there are cars across the intersection that are going to be going straight. This move is the equivalent of cutting in line and I can't wait to see the first person get pulled over for doing it. The intersection I see it happen at the most isn't even that busy. I don't know why, but things like this infuruate me. It's up there with the people who don't merge until the last second near construction zones so that they can cut in front of others who are waiting. I should start carrying a bag of rocks in my car...
