O'Connor or Rehnquist?

Bill Kristol predicts O'Connor, not Rehnquist, will step down next week; foresees no improvement in the Court's make up. Still, it can't hurt to give O'Connor the boot, no matter how good her dissent in the Kelo case may have been.

I would think the Senate must be exhausted by now with all the fighting over Bolton and previous nominees. And now a Gonzales (quite possibly, anyway) nomination fight is about to be added to the batch.

Makes you almost feel sorry for the Senators. Almost, but not.
